External Hard Drive Freecom depends pötzlich, can no longer be started. Did this 11/2 years ago about FAT32 converted to NTFs through the Forum here. Going well so far. Well it depends, is a regular baindawsayagyi clicking sound but it does not boot, no drive is rebuilding. Many valuable data on it. Does anyone have a good, helpful tip. Thanks already - Angela

Can be the hard drive. a) sometimes you can save it, to replace the electronics (PCB) of the disk-buy (used identical and exchange) b) may also USB enclosures have their electronics. (Removing and installing directly into PC, change USB enclosure) c) or because of handling even internally loose connections (open - see) c) unlikely if clack very regularly jk
