Last week Microsoft we "surprised" with what in my opinion is bad news: the decision to discontinue for the time of Autohosted Apps: http://blogs.office.com/2014/05/16/update-on -autohosted-apps-preview-program /. Out of which the decision whether or not based on the feedback received from developers and client (I do not think I've ever been that feedback that you were loading this kind of Apps), I think it is bad news though is seen coming from long ago that this would happen ... honestly, having this kind of Apps in Preview mode for over a year did not make sense because not only penalized the Apps model, but also prevented Apps developers could create more solutions or less powerful thought in a clear target audience: SME ... and it's here for what I think is a mistake to discontinue this type of Apps and posed a very simple way to give a small business additional functionality such as a CRM, contact management, etc. without having to go through an application deployed Prover-Hosted type in your Office 365 tenant. developers to think it's a shame that we will not yet have this kind of apps, because create them was a really quick and deploying Office 365 in the same process: with a simple click is enough :-). Anyway, we'll see So Microsoft surprises us in the coming months as a replacement for Autohosted Apps. I leave a couple of additional references fffffffffff on the topic: SharePoint http://thuansoldier.net/?p=4058 Autohosted Apps Are No More - Deprecated, Discontinued ... Dead How to: Convert an autohosted app for SharePoint to a provider- hosted app
Finally, tell you that the applications created with Access 2013 will not be affected (you can see it in the comments of the Office team blog that I put above) by this measure because: Although elements deployed in Azure (Access the BD becomes BD in a SQL Azure), no problem from the side of Microsoft (which it strikes me, because if you can here: Why not with Autohosted) in this deployment?. Applications which are created with Access can be published in the Office Store since last February.
