This time I will be based on the automatic install of Craftbukkit, at the same time also is a clien

Some time ago I made a guide describing how you could make your own minecraft server. This guide is now gone and has become a bit old and outdated, and since then there have been far better alternatives for how to create maax your own Minecraft server.
This time I will be based on the automatic install of Craftbukkit, at the same time also is a client that supports the vast majority of plugins and mods minecraft, and comes with a neat and user-friendly UI to manage the server.
Now click on "Edit Server Properties". Here you can change the settings for your server such as name, how many players must be able to be, or whatever maax it should be now. In short, this is your server configuration. If it comes with an error that it can not load your default maax settings to open it even server maax configuration in notepad, and here you must delete all the lines starting with "#", then save the file and press the "refresh" in configuration window.
Once you have set your settings as you want, then click "Download CraftBukkit" at the top of the main window. Here you will be greeted with 3 options, and my suggestion is that you choose "stable". The program will now download CraftBukkit, and it can take a while.
When downloading CraftBukkit is complete. then there's a small box appears on your screen that tells you it and we can now proceed. Now go back to "Server console" and here there is actually not much more to do than to press "Start". The first time you start your server, it may take a while, since the program must put all your settings and generate a whole new minecraft world. When the program has finished creating the server maax will typically write "[INFO] Done (2,807 s)! For help, type "help" or "?" "And you should now be able to connecte to your server locally.
If you would like your server online so you can get your friends to connecte to your server, then you must forward the port the port you choose in your server configuration inside your router too. Since there are a myriad of routers out there, so it's not something I can help you. There is a really good website that can help you do just that. All you have to do is go to portforward.com, find your router and then follow the wizard there on how to set it up in your particular router.
